Dice MediaBridge Not Working Correctly

So I took my car in to be serviced and now my Dice isn't working correctly. I can still play my iPhone through the USB connection, but bluetooth is no longer discoverable and the voice prompts ("USB" "Bluetooth" "Song Mode" etc) no longer work. The shop changed out my thrust arm bushings and cleaned the mechanism that raises and lowers the steering wheel upon entry/exit, so I'm not sure what they could have changed. Any ideas or thoughts on how to fix this? Appreciate any help!

This worked, along with a firmware update. Problem solved!

Happening again! Everytime the car goes off the thing freezes. I can fix it by disconnection the power, but this solution doesn't work for me long term. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I've spent some time on the phone with Dice Technical Support and they have sent me a return authorization. I think the timing with the service work was purely coincidental and that the unit just died.

Mediabridge MB1500

Yes...After 2 days of dis/reconnect everything to no avail... I fixed it!

What I did: Updated the firmware again..

and then reinstalled everything one more time.

Either the update I did before first install didnt work correctly or got corrupted.

Mine did something similar when I first got it. I fitted the wiring into the car and tested everything worked, then went indoors to do a firmware upgrade. After that it just didn't work properly - similar to what you're describing. Announcements were inconsistent, and bluetooth just would not connect to my phone. Tried the firmware upgrade again, and obviously powered it on and off a couple of times, and she's been good as gold ever since.

Quite pleased with the Dice now it's working though, especially the fact I can have it connected to both my personal and work mobiles at the same time, so if either rings it comes through to the car. Genius.
