It would be great to hang out with some of the Southern crew! I bet we could even talk the boys at BIP into having a little mini meet if we wanted to.
Thanks for the update. I will try to make it over that weekend.

If my fuel system (and winter wheels) are done by then, I'll be there!

Timmay,

I have some meetings in New Albany at the end of Jan. I would love to buy you dinner and see the beast! Hopefully we will have good weather.

Just throwing something out there that I was thinking about this afternoon: has anyone considered using a roots-type SC setup like the one on the Corvette ZR1? I mean, it's an efficient supercharger and intercooler in one compact unit... seems like the perfect choice.

Yeah, Rob (a/k/a RAO) runs this IIRC on his E39/LSX conversion, but I don't think anything like this is available for the S62.

A roots type charger would complement the S62's torque very nicely however it would be quite the undertaking considering the custom parts needed. A glance at some of the roots type supercharger kits available for the Mustang Coyote should shed some light as to what would be involved with the S62.
Could you imagine a kenne bell riding a atop a S62 and the banshee like whine with the pedal against the boards!!!
Surely one of you boys has a brass pair with the wallet to back them up?

I'd love to figure out how to adapt it to the S62. It just seems like it would work so much better than a centrifugal blower.

I was thinking an intercooled MagnaCharger, but yeah, that's the idea!

The Kenne Bell was just an example.
Magna charger, Eaton, heck even a Weiand with openings for dual holley double pumpers, would all be good candidates

Timmay77 - Re: Gauge Placement...

I have only seen brief photo's of the setup, but I think havasusteve03Beast's (currently Barry's) gauge pod setup on the dash may be a realistic solution when it comes to functionality and looks. From what I understand, the pod is setup at the top left corner of the dash (between the dash and the windshield) and hold one or two gauges.

I'm sure Barry or Steve would be able to provide you with a photo of the setup. I have forwarded to your e-mail the two best photo's I have saved for you to see the idea.
