I've got the same kit in my car, except that I stuffed it into the hole where the spare tire is supposed to be.

To alfie, no, it is not pressurized. Good tip though, for those who like a can of "fix-a-flat" in their trunk.

I had a bad valve stem a few months ago, and no slime or plug will help that. As E39M5inMD mentions, there is no substitute for an actual spare tire, and I've got one of those as well (I just don't always have it in the car since it is so huge).
