Exhaust Installation in Los Angeles

I am almost ready to make the jump at a new exhaust and have narrowed it down to either Dinan or Supersprint. It will more than likely come down to the convenience of a local workshop in the Los Angeles area.

My question is has anyone experienced an exhaust installation with either Long Beach BMW, BMW Workshop in Canoga Park who are authorized Dinan dealers or Evosport in Huntington Beach for a SS exhaust? If so, how was your experience, positive or negative and pricing?

Thanks,

Exhaust installation

I have had my B&B's installed and deinstalled as well as the OEM exhaust reinstalled and the SS X-pipe installed at a custom shop here in Costa Mesa. Great prices and you can watch as they do their work.

Let me know if you need the name.

A note on the SS exhaust. I have a really great SA and tech at my local dealership - they literally schedule me on a first-in-the-morning-next-day basis for any problem or situation I have no matter how minor. They've happily installed an SS exhaust, Dinan suspension, laser jammer and so forth, IMO equal to or better than any specialtly shop could do. Also I personally prefer to keep everything "in house" at this juncture so that there's greater accountability while my car is still under warranty. I bring the dealership option up because my tech said the SS exhaust installed easily, with everything lining up perfectly including the all-important tailpipes inside the rear valence openings (there's not much room to spare on either side). I suspect the Dinan exhaust would provide a similar quality fit without the need of having to wrestle the entire system around.

Good expierence at LB BMW

I have had all my Dinan work at Long Beach BMW including exhaust. They do quality work. I've never had a problem.

It's a pretty simple install, by the time it takes you to drive to and back from the dealer you can have it installed.

Get it installed by Evosport if you can. I've some friends who got their installs there and they are very good.

skx,

installing an exhaust is not rocket science. hell, most muffler shops should be able to do the job fine.

Some friends and I go to F1 Motorsport, they do a pretty decent job with stuff like this.

Where in LA are you?

I agree that this muffler work is not all that difficult for any competent shop. It also should be fairly inexpense.
