E39 M5's at Evolve HQ

I thought I would start a thread about the various beasts that enter evolve and leave that bit more special. Will keep the thread updated with projects as and when they happen.

First car is the lovely 40k miles beast belonging to M5board member bumface which was delivered back to him this week.

Car came in completely standard and left with Evolve "Medusa" Headers, Evolve Sport Cats, Evolve X Pipe and Rear Exhaust, Evolve Alpha N ECU Tuning and AP Racing BBK.

The black beast in the background has gone through a rather extensive evolve workover which will be detailed in a seperate post - just getting all the build pictures together.

Oh man... I think I am really going to love this thread. With all of the mods on the silver one listed, what are the gains (horsepower and torque) over stock? I am interested in doing something similar. Either a full Evolve system, including the AlphaN with Secondary Air Pump delete or Van Manen headers, Evolve cats and X-Pipe and Meisterschaft GT exhaust... unless Evolve can make a compelling case to go exclusively with their system. Who in the US distributes your products as well or am I looking at direct import? Videos with exhaust sound of that full system would be great too. Yeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh!

Bumface, you jammy git. I bet that's woken her up a bit. Did you do any before and after dyno runs?

Yes, I think this thread might lighten my wallet somewhat. Would be interested also as to the relative gains and benefits of the breathing work done, am looking at a similar set of mods myself.

Also of interest, how does the AP kit measure up? I seem to remember the AP setups aren't as cheap as the Stoptechs etc.

I also that you guys are pulling in one of the SC setups from tradin1, will you documenting that in this thread too? Again, interested to read about that too
