They both look good. I agree that the wood trim in any finish does not match the aluminum. The one exception may be this champagne combination in this pic hijacked from another thread on the board. It's certainly not the combination you would want if you let your kids in the car.

Now that I have been able to pull the car out from my fluorescent-lit garage and see this trim in the sunlight I am in love with it even more. I can not thank slimm enough for getting this trim to me and even more for helping out with that one last piece of trim I was looking for. If any of you are coming to Bimmerfest East, I will be there and you can see this trim in person.
