Awesome! Now that's just one of the many reasons why this board kicks ***

As a matter of principle, I would not deal with that dealership certainly that salesman, after they pull a crap stunt like that. They do not deserve your commission. In this economy, these people have to bend over backwards to make a sale happen with customers, not the other way around.
Again, there are plenty of dealerships, if you call around, that will give you a car at or below MSRP.

I have to agree with Rezf.....you should call this guy again and say "sorry, you blew it. you've lost me as a customer and probably many others who i've told this story to." why give him the commission? one other point...... if a dealership treats you like that when they're trying to sell you a car, can you imagine how you'll be treated if you bring it back with problems?? think about it.

Well...

right when he called me, he was asking me whether I am still interested in a M3 @ sticker and he told me that "apparently someone wrote on something on a message board slamming me"...he certainly did get the wind.

Now, I'm not too sure whether he / the manager actually read the message or did someone actually called in to complain abt the behaviour.

Regardless of whether I buy the M3 from him, I find this to be satisfying because we (BMW buyers) are high-line / high-income consumers and should be treated as such.....and not be lied to (by saying no dealers offer M3 @ MSRP) and certainly not to be treated rudely...regardless of whether I buy a car from them or not.

For eg. Savage BMW, when I called in to ask abt M3 @ Sticker...the salesman was professional enough to say "with all due respect, if you can get a M3 @ sticker @ other dealership, it is a great deal and you should go for it"....that is the professionalism that I expect

Anywayz, I guess I have to give props to the management of Beverly Hills BMW for acting upon this behaviour

Thanks Guys,
Sugi
