Hi All,
I hope I'm not breeching etiquette by posting this shameless advertisement, but wanted to let you all know there's a track event at Thunderhill on 6/26. I'm a co-founder of the Nor Cal Racing Club which puts on several HPDEs each year. We have a few openings and since I've seen lots of threads on driving and how many 'racing' type mods many of you have. Thought it would be nice to offer the opportunity for a day at the track where you can open-up the car and see what it can really do, and safely.
We offer top-notch instruction; in fact, some of our instructors are from BMWCCA, PCA, SCCA. We're well organized and multi-marquee... so any (used kinda loosely) car can run with us. My wife will have her '02 M5 at the track, I'm bringing my 996 C4. Our first priority with any event is safety, second priority is fun. Should be a blast.
Let me know if you're interested -- just send me email (address below). I should mention that we do this for about half price of other clubs huge value in instruction, low-traffic track time, and, of course, safety -- haven't had even one incident at our events... ever!
Here's the announcement:
The Northern California Racing Club has a few spots open for an open track event June 26th at Thunderhill in Northern California. The cost for the event is $210, plus $40 for NCRC membership if you're not already a member. See
http://www.ncracing.org/th020626.html for logistics.
Feel free to forward this note to other interested folks.
Thanks for your time,
Troy
P.S. Pls let me know if this was the wrong thing to post, since I'm sorta new. Tried to contact the moderators before posting...
