I wanted to buy the Dinan STG III suspension, but heard it really doesn't lower the car that much. So, what type of springs can I get just to lower my car? I want it as low as possible

And can I still get the Dinan STG III, but swap the springs out for a different company (H&R's maybe)?

H&R's spring kit only lowers the front, and it lowers it about the same amount as the Dinan stage III. If you want a slammed look, purchase the KW coilovers.

Ya know, if you raised it instead of lowering it, you might fare better against those pesky parked X5s

The problem here is that most road-car suspensions generally end up handling worse when they're lowered...this is doubly true of Macpherson strut setups.

Look into the KW's. A few of us have them on the way.

Do a search on "kw coil" and you will find the thread leading to the information.

Unfortunately you just missed the group buy but maybe they will still honor it since I think they ordered extras.
