who has locked themselves out?

I must be really losing it these days...
This morning i couldn't find my wallet,
i go search the house for 30 min..NOTHING..
i go search the 2 cars..NOTHING..
After a retracing my steps and checking the cars the 3rd time
i realized it was on the passenger door panel..phew!
Must've slid off making a turn..
anyways after that i rush to work...
I park my car in the garage and an hour later i go back down to check my car since this was a new garage i parked in.
Well i go over to my trunk pop it open by pressing the trunk button on the key, reorganize some loose articles and close the trunk.
I check my pockets and guess what???
I left my keys in the trunk!!! what an idoit..i could'nt believe it!!
so i borrow a co-workers car to drive home to pick up my spare.
As i'm 3/4 of the way home i realize i left my house keys in the office!! what an idoit..what was i thinking???
NO matter i drive home thinking the contractors might still be there with my uncle...and NOPE they weren't...
luckily one of the windows were left open and i had to jump to the side of the wall grab hold of the window sill, pull myself up and squeeeeeeeeeze through the small bathroom window opening..=( man i felt like a cat burgular...

well that's what i had to do since i locked myself out of my car =(
how about you guys??

I did the exact same thing on my E39 528i, but I didn't have a spare! I tried calling BMWRA and they sent out a locksmith, STUPID . The guy couldn't open ****! So then I towed it home and when I got home I noticed 2 nice cirlcular scratches on my hood from the red hazard lights the truck driver put on. After about a week, BMW called and said they had the key in, and all was fine!

Wow, what excitement . I have never done this on the BMW but have in my other car. You feel like such as idiot after you realize the keys are sitting in the ignition, doors are locked and you are sitting outside in the hot sun wishing it were all a dream. Glad to hear you have the reflexes of every great burgular and managed to get your keys.
