Angry Attn: Do Not Buy Your Car From Bevery Hills Bmw

I was calling Bevery Hills BMW to ask for a M3 for my gf and was connected to this guy, Barry...I was telling him that I want a M3 @ msrp told him some dealerships are selling M3 @ sticker.

He was telling me that those dealerships are lying to me blah blah blah..and when the car arrives @ the floor, they'll charge me 5k above....bunch of BS and he said if I want one @ msrp..I've called the wrong dealership...and when I say I'll think about it and will call him back if interested...he practically slammed his phone on me...WTF!!!!!!!!!

I have no problem with dealership charging markups BUT they have to also respect buyers who DO NOT want to pay markups and not treat us like dirt if we are not willing to!!!!!! This attitude is totally unacceptable !!!!

anyone of you looking for a M3..save yourself the trouble and humilty and DON'T BOTHER CALLING THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..

The salesmanager/owner should be told how Barry treats potential customers. He not only lost you sale but the sales of all the other customers that ask you to recommend a good dealership to buy their BMWs.

This is a well known fact. Avoid BH BMW like the plague!

B/C of salesman like him...I even feel bad / embarassed asking for MSRP @ other dealerships....

BMW should really take a cue from other dealerships..eg. Lexus / MB who really treat all customers with the right attitude

If you want an M3 or M5 at MSRP, just look for it in the east coast. I know of at least 5 places that have M3 coupe/convertible and M5s and are happy just selling at MSRP

Why you Cali folks bother with Cali dealerships for sales is beyond me. I can appreciate the fact that starting a repoire with them is nice, but let's be realistic here: they want YOUR money, and the California economy is still red hot.

If any of you guys can forward me some dealerships that have SMG M3 coupes in stock, I will greatly appreciate it.

There are some nice dealerships around..for eg. Bretch BMW in San Diego which are top notch honest but mann....for every good dealership around, there are 10 bad ones....not in the sense of marking up on the cars BUT the treatment they give to customers...I am utterly disgusted and disappointed by the lack of service / COMMON COURTESY exhibited by some salesman

Thanks alot guys,
Sugi

the economy in california stinks right now, probably worse than most of the country.

i live in the bay area and continue to be amazed at the accepting attitude to pay up for just about everything here. i guess it's not in the nature of people here to make a big stink about things. just wait until the great governor of california raises income tax rates to cover some of the budget debacle he's created.....11 percent state rates here we come!!

MSRP

I just purchased my M5 in SoCal at MSRP with no problem. I did order. Some dealerships were asking a Markup for cars in stock, some were not. However, I did tell everyone I spoke to I was not paying over MSRP. They did not hang up on me.

I bought mine from Pacific BMW and with no problem. Roy was my sales guy and this was my second car from them. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
