What's the possibility of getting an Imola / Imola with all options??
My wife saw an Imola blow by us in our '99 Cosmos M3 convertible the other day and said "there's the car." We just had a baby and need more room so here's the perfect opportunity to go for the sedan. Is it possible to find one in SF Bay Area, CA?? I haven't called my dealer yet.

hey dinan,
i think you may be in luck. there is a imola red/red here in nj. But it is used (i think 7k miles) i dont know if you are interested in that? anyway, call elie, he was my dealer and absolutely excellent, tell him fas with the lemans blue m5 sent you, and ask him about the sale. he works for prestige bmw, in nj, but you can get a better deal here i am almost positive then in CA, and they will deliver it for you. If you wish i can call and tell him your gonna call? their number is 201.327.2525. hope it works out for you. you can email me if you wish.

Dinan3:
EXCELLENT CHOICE!!!! Mine is Imola with all black Nappa leather and titanium silver trim... VERY COOL!!!!
My dealer here in Houston just sold a used Imola/sport trim 01' for $85K. It only had a few miles... almost new. I think they bought it at an auction?..
I will let you know if I hear of one for sale?...
Meanwhile, you can just drool over this picture of mine?!!
by the way... I too am a big Dinan fan. Before getting the BEAST, I had a 98 Dinan supercharged M3 sedan!! And I've already done several Dinan mods to the BEAST!

There is a Red '01 listed on Yahoo Classifieds through BMW of Nashville. Add doesn't specify options or interior. Salesman is Charlie Jess (I have been on their list since may and will be ordering in about a month) PH is (615)850-4015. CHarlie knows m-cars pretty well and has been a good contact. Good Luck!

Thanks for the tips. Just talked with my local dealer. Has a carbon/blk sport available (guy backed out.. guess he was vested in priceline!) Anyway, they are asking an average of 20 over base but said he could probably do much better if I wanted to jump on it. Is this pretty average for my area?? Sounds high to me.

Personally, I'd only be willing to pay an amount equal to MSRP plus shipping from out of state. I've heard that enclosed shipping from the East Coast could be frm approx $ 1,600 to $ 2,500 depending on carrier. Nashville sells for MSRP and will arrange shipping. Color, Interior trim and Options are important to me. Which dealer in the Bay Area? Peter Pan, Stevens Creek?? 20 K over is way too much. Again...good luck!

It's at Sonnen in Marin. I bought my '97 M3 Coupe and '99 M3 Convertible at SF BMW but haven't had much luck on that front. Ebay and Autotrader have them listed with reserves around 85.
So back east they are actually selling at list? I know shipping isn't that big of a deal because I shipped a 21' boat to NY when I sold it. Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.

That's completely ridiculous. Example: BMW of Manhattan had a y2k (silver) in stock way before I got my car (12/15)listed @$85k. Now they're down to $73,995 (still too high). Guess what? I went by there today, the car is still there.
Check the for sale section on this site. Someone has 2 '01's at list.
