Finally got to open it up today, honestly I was expecting a bit more out of the kit, it doesn't feel like 525HP, we will see how this develops.

What's your boost?

If everything is working right and you're getting the 5psi, you'd def feel the extra 125hp.

What happens to those MAF plugs? Are they just tucked under the plenum?

How about sound changes, or is it the same, just quicker to 7k or is there a different sound when initially loading the engine when boosts is on?
Interested to know if theirs a tonal difference.

The ESS S/C does not use MAFs, instead, it calculates air mass based on parameters such as ambient air temp, barometric pressure, engine RPM, TPS, etc. I believe this is essentially what Alpha-N set up is, but engine tuning is a must, since the DME needs to rely on new maps for regulating AF mixture.

I already know all of that. I'm curious as to what happens to the plugs themselves.

By MAF plug do you mean the opening where the MAF housing fits onto the intake pipe to the plenum? If so, I'm pretty sure the S/C has a custom intake tubing without those openings; if not, I don't know the answer to your question.
