Did take some ****ty pictures today... I have had my windshield changed couple of weeks ago (Climate Comfort now ;) ) because old one was cracked. Also front bumper has been finally re-painted and car did take some detailing.
But of course it is allready ****ty (washed it earlier in this week) but... :dunno: kinggf

Oh, and yes, head light trims are still missing :D

Wrapped interior trim lists (doors, center console trim, e-brake handle... everything) this week (Big hand, once again, to Mr. VantaaM5 ! :goldcup: )
This have been a plan since I bought this car (3 years!) because some how previus owner did totally f*ck center console trim and it has been bothered me since :2:

Little bit hard to take the pictures for the different. Wrap were some 3M matt grey (Raikku, what was correct name for that? ).
In real life, new look is a bit darked than original Titanium.

After2;

Also aluminum trim in ZHP gear knob did take some wrap (tiny circle "under" the knob itself) hiha

And we wanted to give shot to Navigation Screen frame too... I think it looks quite nice :eek7:

This week Sh1tbox is also getting new front shoes (hopefully), new headlight trim lists and final polishing with hard wax (I dont know what is the correct name for this "wax" thing)

:)

Actually I bought it from Raikku's friend. But example from Ebay, you can find tons of different colors of 3M wraps. And you should only(?) use 3M brand.

nimimerkillä paskaa ekana ostanut :D

You look like having map of Finnland in your navigation unit..? Tell me if there is a place outside dealership to get one soon...
Do you need cd or dvd version (So what navigation unit you have? MKII, MKIII or MKIV?)? I have 2012 DVD which is little bit hard to burn, needs really good brand (example Verbatim) Dual Layer disc to get it work. Also I have 2010 DVD which can be ripped (just take not used languages out from the .iso file) and then burned to Single Layer disc. This is what I am using because my 2012 disc is not workin 100% for some reason :dunno:
Those DVD's covers Scandinavia and at least Western Europe (cannot remember exactly)

And only CD version which I have is from 2008... And it covers whole Scandinavia.

Let me know, I can put those online for while.

Uh, looong time no posts here... Ok, nothing special has not been happened :confused:

Beast prepared for the summer;

Refurbished Style 65's ( Alloy Wheel Refurbishment & Repair Experts | Lepsons );

Condition of wheels was like this when I bought them;

Last weekend Wishbones with Powerflexes, T-stat, oils and two subframe bushes was changed by Raikku :biggrinbounce:

And thats about it... I have been just driving. There is around 232000km in clock nowdays :)

Hmph. Over two years since last update to my topic :eek:h:

Car was re-painted in this month;

And some new, tiny, mods since last update... (there is still no way to edit my #1 post??? )

- Bull Audio 12” Subwoofer (replaced original Nokia box, I did not find M-Audio subwoofers anywhere)
- BM54 Radio Module
- Refurbished (by Lepsons UK) Style 65 Rims
- Sliding Armrest with Storage Tray
- Climate Comfort Windshield
- UK Voice Control Module
- Refurbished M5 Facelift Steering Wheel

Car has now ~250 000km on clock.

Sh1tbox is going to sleep over winter, perhaps end of November. Depends about the weather.

Naah, I prefer to keep it OEM :)
Of course renewed CPS's and tons of other parts at the same time when engine was out. Part list was loooooooong. I will try to remember post the part list later.

If someone is interested, some pics of this "inspection4" (as we call it over here :D ) can be found from here; Index of /BMW/E39_M5/pics/inspection4_122019_262xxxkm

Have had spare front Calipers couple of years laying around. Started to rebuild them last weekend...
Sand blasted and Wire Brusdhed quite carefully and then painted 4 layers with "Hot Paint".
Will swap these to the car when I get it to aligment. Same time new brake fluids and pads in.

Sorry no before pics :confused:

Also bought set of original Style 37 rims and just waiting those to come back from refurbishment :cool:

Drivers seat repaired today;

Next step for the interior is to drop it to Leather painter... Front seats a bit worn :rolleyes:

And last weekend, my detailer did polish front end of the car (whole car was done 07/2019) as we did get some tiny scratches when engine was built.

Shines nicely, at least for a while :cool:
Products she used, last summer Autosmart 2k coat (3y guarantee). And now frontend was done with GTechniq ExoV2 and rest of the car with System-X Renew which boosts up last summers coating.

Beast is running just fine! Basically nothing special has not been done for it in 1,5years. I have been just enjoying it :cool:

Last weekend I did drop by in Hamburg, Germany to pickup new (for me) daily driver.
It is G01 X3 M40i YM2019 and mileage is ~35 000km. This car is quite fast too, I think faster than the M5 :D
