I'm in! I want it! Anything that might help reduce dealer-inflicted swirl marks!

Is there a name or a Japanese website that we could take a look at?

Z8 -

I'm going out of town for 2 weeks tomorrow. I'll be interested to see your car when I come back. You haven't responded to my earlier questions, though - would you please?

1) What is the name of the product?

2) What does it claim to do that is new/unique/different?

3) What is involved in its application? Its maintenance?

My Porsche looks like a mirror too. But it was done with conventional products. If swirl mark protection is what you're after, then we really won't know whether this has done any good unless we wait for a few months and a lot of washes.

Your Ferrari is beautiful, by the way. The color will make it very difficult to see/compare results though - light metallic colors scatter light like crazy so they naturally hide swirls.

LISA - I have learned SO much about swirl marks - and how they get there. There is no panacea, but knowing how they get there, how to prevent them in the first place, and how to remove them is good knowledge to have. Sounds like you care. If you want to contact me offline feel free, or start a new thread on the subject..

amaaaaazing -
sold only in Japan, diamond-like hardness, superb appearance and protection; probably applies itself;

Very respectfully, this really does seem to be good to be true.

Would love to hear more analysis as others have chance to see it, and as some time goes to see how it holds up.

BTW - balls of steel for applying this no name product to your Z8!!!!!! I probably would have tried it on the gas tank of my '75 Yamaha first time!
