TECH: Eurodash conversion with part numbers for M5 leather
I've finally been able to locate the part numbers for the various leather bits and pieces for the Eurodash conversion. Sorry this took so long. I used this opportunity to do a major overhaul of the web page which describes all these parts.
My next step is to find out the prices and order a few bits and pieces so I can be sure that everything will work. At that point, I'll be able to do this conversion for anyone who wants it.

If anyone knows the difference between "Nappa Heritage" and "Walk Nappa" leathers, could you let me know? The BMW ETK CD lists these two different types of leather for a specific trim piece. I want to make sure I order the right one.

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is a "eruodash?" Is it real leather while the US version is fake leather?

In Europe, all the 5 series including the M5 has a thinner lower dashboard area. They increased the thickness of the dashboard area for US market 5 series for those of us that do not wear seatbelts for knee protection. Unfortunately, this kind of look does not fare well for the looks and takes away knee room too. If you'll notice the lower dashboard, it doesn't quite line up with the door panels.
Go to this thread and scroll down to DZeckhausen's post with the pictures and you'll get a better idea of what I'm trying to say here.

Careful! I haven't actually installed a Eurodash in an M5 with leather luxury interior, so don't rush out and order those parts until I investigate further. The part numbers came from the latest BMW ETK, but I'm not willing to stake my life on them being correct until I've held them in my hands.
I may just purchase one set of everything to have on hand, and then I could arrange for someone with a Luxury interior to drive over to Maplewood, NJ and compare texture and color.
Want to be my guinea pig?

Sounds like an exciting upgrade Dave, but those panels covered in cowhide have to be some big $$$ -- any idea on cost yet?
