Help needed in removing trim piece - The Unofficial BMW M5 Messageboard (m5board.com)

I need to run some wires under the piece of wood trim that runs from the cupholders around the gear shifter to the ashtray / storage area. I've found two screws under the shift boot at the front, but I'm sure there are more. Probably under that small storage spot in front of the arm rest. Can someone please assist by providing some intstructions on the removal of this piece?

I would also like to acces the A/C heater panel to clean some grime from around it. How do I get that panel out of the center console?

If I remember correctly... In order to remove front console, you have to remove two screws by the gear shifter, two by the arm rest and one screw under the hazar light.

There are also two screws that you have to remove from behind. If I remember correctly, they are accessed by popping out the rear ac vent. Dont try to remove it without removing these screws, it will break.
