Not in NY! But you can still have some fun in France or Italy.
Go there this summer rent a Beast and let it go. Forget about it in US, or at least where I live - way to expencive and a lot of trouble with licence and insurance. Ask me how I now? Good luck.
Believe it or not, here in SE Ohio we have plenty of good `roads - anything from mostly empty four-lanes to tight twisty two lanes. I think a couple of the two lanes made it on Car and Drivers "best roads" list a few years back.

Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I never thought I'd say that it's a great place to own an M5. It's true that I can't do high speed (95+) around here because of traffic and cop saturation. However, I'm never a speed demon. For pure high speed motoring, I'd say Nevada.
What I found this spring is that there are lots and lots of heavenly mountain, country and coastal roads around here where the driving thrills/rewards far exceed that of pure speed rushes. And if I get out early, say 6 am, the byways are actually empty.
I think you can find similar routes through the Malibu Canyons, or Highway 1 (101?) by the coast. You may have to go earlier than 6 am for clear roads though.
I've had so many wonderful drives this spring I'm almost in heaven.
