Would you believe I did something similar, at very low speed with a Kangaroo when in Australia driving a Z4 with the roof down. Only damage was the kidney grill which still had all its clips intact. Just the chrome surround was cleanly snapped in one place...fixed with superglue. Not even a dent! The 'Roo survived to live another day thankfully.

@ NorthumbriaBorders - Originally from NW Cumbria, mate, just outside Workington hence why I was up there over the weekend. Could see Scotland a treat over the Solway from the Hunday Manor on Sunday morning!

It seems we hit things with varying luck...

Owning a Honda Civic or the like, is akin to dating a girl who is fat, ugly, smells a bit where she shouldn't, is a cheap date and doesn't screw at all (you don't mind). So yeah, I'll take the blonde." (Courtsey of Jetpilot718)

Not THE most awesome website in the world (I'm surprised the webdesigners actually put their name at the bottom) but good to know of another decent BMW shop in that neck of the woods should I ever need one.

Many thanks

Avus blue with H&S exhaust? Bloke called John? I used to work with his mate. It has 19" shnitzers or something doesnt it? I was trying to get him to sell me his stock rims a while back when mine were getting refurbed. I heard he kept them so might try and get them off him again. How is it treating you?

Yes, absolutely, wasn't meaning to have a dig at all, living a bit more central now, I appreciate just how 'on-the-doorstep' things are down here

Like I said, note has been made of them in case I ever need some good hands when I'm up there.
