Nav TV install instructions??

I just received my NavTV unit today and the install instructions are terrible. I did a search for instructions on this board but couldn't find any. Does anybody know if there are install instructions somewhere on web. I think I remember seeing them on an <> alternate BMW website, but forget the link

Thanks for any help.

Anthony

I heard the install was pretty easy, you could call NAV-TV as well, they always pick up when I call.

Eric Weber sells detailed instructions that he put together and the feedback I've heard on the E39 board is that they are very nicely done. I don't know the cost, but you can reach Eric at svtweb@yahoo.com.

He goes by SVTWEB on the Roadfly.com E39 message board.

Just got off the phone with NAV-TV...it sounds a lot easier now that they have given me some help. As a contribution to this board I should document my install so that we have it for future installers.

OK, I'll keep all posted on the progress...

I used Eric's (SVTWEB) instructions when installing mine the first time and later when I upgraded the entire system. Very thorough. Just be sure to take your time and not get in a rush. You should be able to knock it out in one day.

Looking at Nav TVs website, they state that you have to send the video module in for tweaking.
1.) Is it something we can upgrade ourselves with their kit?
2.) How hard is it to get to the moudule if I should send it in?

Johnny, are you saying you already have the TV module? What Nav-TV offers is to remove the motion sensing capabilities of the TV module so it can be watched at all times. They also provide output/input recepticles (rca jacks), if you want to add other sources.
If you do not have the TV module already, they'll sell you the entire package at one time.
