OK... Just had it installed. With the little time I've had with it there are no big changes on this version. The one thing I have noticed is it's speed. This version is much faster than the previous. Fast screen redraw with the GPS, and scrolling is a quick. Oh, and that little "T" is gone. Well worth the install. I'll go through it after work and see if there's anything I missed.
Sorry guys, I don't have the disk. I just got an email from my tech, drove down and installed in 6 minutes...easy.

Geez Lupo, you got an email from your tech? I am jealous! I'm lucky if they send me a postcard when my parts come in!

Features
One of the more prominent features in the new version (apart from the significant speed difference) is the fact that it remembers the last "state" of the NAV. If you for example have the map displayed and shut the engine off, when you get back to the car and start it, the map will be displayed again automatically.
Apart from that, I havenīt found any more new features. BMW themselves havenīt reported anything special either, but on the other hand, they have never been known for documenting their software properly (at least not officially).
Iīve heard some rumours about this version (v. 19 or 3-1/50 as seen in the "set" display) doesnīt work with all models, ie builds -99, -00 or -01. On some cars it also demands a cd with v. 17 or the key-cd. I will try to get this info verified though...
Best regards
Peter Gutniak

Peter: Very interesting, I'll definitely have to try it out tonight.
BM5VIUS: No "accept" button. Although I didn't have the "accept" button on my previous version either. It may just be a USA only thang.

"Accept" button
Of course itīs a USA only thing.... My guess is that the what youīre accepting is something like;
"BMW hereby declares that we shall not be held responsible if you drive off a cliff just because the NAV told you to go there..." etc etc....
Didnīt I read somewhere that lawyers made up for 15% of the population...??
Sleep tight, fellows...
