        NAV 18.2 SW version 42????

For those of you who have version 18.2 NAV and/or SW Version 42, did anyone get them from a BMW Service Center?? I have asked two Service Centers who I have good rapprt with, and none of them have heard of this version? Is it possible, that these are beta disks floating around, or are my service centers clueless? Please advise.

Now I'm hearing about a version 1/50 that's available! Won't be long before us folks get it.

I can't even remember who told me about 1/50. It's been released over in the UK so it won't be long before it gets over here.

        I have version 1/41 not 1/42...I don't think there's even a 1/42.

my dealership knew about the software, and had a copy... but they wouldn't give it to me, in fear that it may damage my system... I kept on bugging them about it, and they wouldn't give it to me... so I just ended up using the copy that was online...

The version appears at the upper right on the settings screen. With the smaller screen, your display will not show the same version as the larger screens even if you load the same software.
We upgraded an 00 and an 01 with the same update CD (version 18.2, as they say). The 01 settings screen read "3-1/41" but the 00 was different.
