Just found out new small time display feature with New navigation system

For those of you without version 18 software,
whenever you initially open the door, the time and date is displayed on the nav screen.
For Nav Ver 18 we do not have this function =(
but this weekend i found out that when we open our doors and press the "timer" button ( the button with the small circle) our time and date is in fact displayed without having to start the car =P

yeah it's a small feature but a feature none the less...hehe

I actually prefer the ===BMW=== that displays on the screen with the newer software versions. I wish the logo screen stayed visible until I pressed a Nav button -- instead of being replaced by the "Accept" screen at engine start.

You really ought to look into getting a watch!

Cool! I wonder how many more "easter eggs" there are in the Nav system... BMW is not known for great documentation...

I too like that ===BMW=== sign..and once you press the time button, the date and time is displayed under that =)

and me getting a watch..well you know when you're in the car you rarely have time to look at your wrist..haha

by the way i fumbled on this function while cleaning the interior of my car by accidently pressing all the buttons with a towel

I'd pay good money for the easter egg that kills the "Accept" button.

The lawyer that came up with that one needs a swift kick, I'll let you guys decide where.

Craig.
