2001 Nav/radio v. 2002

Does anyone know whether there is any difference between the 2001 and 2002 radio/Nav systems? Are the screens the same?

Yes, the actual screens are the same, but the software is different....I have heard mixed reviews for the 2002 s-ware....So I decided not to install the newer version....
