My Service Experience at BMW of Gallery
Hello guys,
There has been much concern lately about poor or sub-par experiences by various board members with BMW Service Centers. I thought I would share my experience with BMW of Gallery in Norwood, MA. I called them up last week to make an appt. to put my Dinan exhausts on my '02 M5. The gentleman, Steve Almeida gave me an appointment for today. Now, this is not a BMW warranty issue; however, they STILL provided me with a Brand new '02 BMW 525i loaner for the day FREE OF CHARGE!! I asked them to not have anyone test drive my car. He assured me of this and gave me his word. When I went to pick up my car everything was done right. In fact, I glanced over the work order and saw the following highlighted in green marker: "The car is not to be test-driven under any circumstances" Needless to say, I had my own mileage and trip odometer recorded from before and I can vouch for them. When I went to the counter to pay the bill, unexpectedly, the Service Manager, Charlie ?, came up to me to introduce himself and congratulate me on my "fine car". The whole experience was done with professionalism and class. In fact, afterwards, I felt bad for being too nitpicky with my orders and instructions. However, they obliged with a smile on their faces. This has got to be one of the most positive experiences I have ever had with BMW Service. And the crazy part is they don't even know me. I have never even bought any of my previous BMWs from these guys. They definitely rolled out the red carpet for me. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a quality service center.
No pompous attitude from this service center. They genuinely want to please the customers!

Rezf,
That's really refreshing to hear after so many negative stories. I too have heard nothing but good things about BMW Gallery-- most notably how well they treated SouthshoreM5 after his recent debacle. It's great to hear when a customer service business actually gets it-- an increasing challenge these days!

Had a similarly positive experience with the Gallery gang, and Steve in particular, a few weeks ago when installing the Dinan software. Professional, friendly, and simply did everything the right way; no ifs, ands, or buts. Was also my first time at Gallery.

Glad to see you got treated in a respectful manner. We hear so many bad things about dealers but there are some good ones out there. Gallery seems to be pretty fair from all accounts I have heard. Glad to see you are happy Reza.

That is great to hear that they treated you well. I do all of my business with them now, no complaints. It seems that Southshore's little incident has made them ultra-repsectfult o M5 owners! J/k, they are a class act!
My car is in their bodyshop to have the bumpers repainted. The paint job was not up to my standards the first time around, and they, without hesitation, booked a time to have my bumpers repainted and refinished all at their cost, and with a free rental car. Talk about great customer service.

It's always nice to hear positive stories and yours is certainly no exception!
I can also vouch for both of my local service department at BMW of Seattle and Bellevue. Both have been good to me.
