Ok I'll tint my Windows... Pics!!

After doing research on various films, i also found a quality installer. He does it out of his garage, but does better than most of the Local tint shops around. Very good quality. Hardly any contamination, and the film goes right to the very top of the roll-up windows.

The Film he used is Llumar Sputter Metallic w/Lifetime Warr. I did 20% on Rear, 35% on all sides and he had some extra tint so I installed a 4 1/4" strip of 20% across front windshield

Let me know how you like it SAm

Hey,

Great looking car - however, it doesn't look like you tinted the windows. I also live in the bay area, and would appreciate if you could tell me who did the work - with phone. What's the cost?

Looks good Ocean side...here is a pic of my father's car tinted windows. I don't know the exact percentage of the tint but it's pretty dark...

nice shot

It is a little distant, but it does seem to be a bit darker. I wanted a little darker on the sides but the law in Cal is only 70% to nothing on front drivers and passenger side windows. So i went with medium on all sides to avoid the contrast you would usually see here from dark in the rear to nothing in the front

Jet black I saw your photo from Jason. It looks like the car is the same color as your hair
Talk to you soon

Nice

It looks really good. Dark grey metallic is the best looking tint IMO. Nice job

Hey Sam

I might be interested in tinting my windows. Would you mind telling me the costs of the overall job with parts and everything? Thanks.

Sam,

Looks great. As you guys know I'm a fan of the 'gangsta' blacked out film on all windows. Have yet to be busted here in sunny Texas.

I do wonder since you went with a metallic film whether you'll notice any radar detector degradation due to the small strip on the windshield. Moot point however if you don't have a detector or if you use suction cups to hold it in place well below the metallic film.

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing!

DWP

Looks fantastic. Personally, I beleive only darker color cars can pull tinting off...
