I have a 00' M5 and really love it. It's my daily driver. I'm on the list for the E60 M5 but, like a lot of people, am very concerned with the look of the new design.

To cover all the bases, I would like to order one of the Last E39 M5's to be delivered. This would be a hedge against Mr. Bangle pulling another redesign like the 745.

What is everyone hearing about when the last E39 M5's are going to be available for ordering.

My dealer said by July this year for delivery in Oct/Nov. I think I've read a few posts that said order by Oct for delivery by Mar.

Any more accurate information from what you all are hearing would be appreciated.

I did see somwhere that the last production will be in Oct

At this time, no one knows for sure. BMW probably doesn't know itself. May depend or the market or engine availability, or ?

Check with your dealer and see what his allocations look like. Would you be next on the list and how many a year does he get?

If there will be no 2003's, then better order by June or July. If there are 2003's, better order by September or October.
