Has anyone heard, in person, the tone and volume of the muffler delete against a quality aftermarket exhaust like tubi, kelleners, etc.?
I'd love to hear thoughts on it, especially in regards to volume.
I'm going to have a tubi rumore exhaust and supersprint x-pipe when I pick up the car. Thinking about going back to stock, and if that's too quiet, muffler delete.
Muffler delete sounds louder than remus and dinan in volume - won't comment on tone with that. Huh. Thanks!
It all depends on where the camera guy was standing. You can't judge "loudness" from these videos, just tone. I took several videos at the track, some of which you can barely hear my car while others are SUPER loud.......
Thought so. Steve is too meticulous to put anything less than the best on that "supermodel". Unless you don't want to spend $2k on a set of mufflers. In which case, one should simply cut off the boxes and call it a day, because in the end $2k can go elsewhere and make these cars faster while giving fantastic tone and volume with the muffler delete setup.
Here's one with Evolve headers, stock cats, and muffler delete out of the stock tips.

Getting the muffler delete done tomorrow morning, very excited. Thanks to everyone who shared videos or thoughts. It helped me make the decision :]
I ordered Vibrant tips (3.5" outlet) and they looked fine in the pictures, but now that I have them in person, they are bigger than I thought. I put them in the cut out of where the exhaust is now on the bumper and it looks like it will just BARELY clear. Probably 2mm clearance on the edges lol
