I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thanks Jason for the invite to great meet and an incredible drive with wonderful people. More than once on those snaky roads, I swear we hit zero gravity

I think my favorite part was when we all blew past the AMG on one of the roads. His face was priceless!

LET'S DO IT AGAIN!

We'll definitely do this again!

I didn't know that was an AMG, I though it was a E320. What I wouldn't give to see his expression! I was too busy blasting past him as were all you guys too!

Glad you enjoyed yourself, Lupo!

What he got wrong was that my CSi is a '95, not a '93,

What he forgot was to mention how my two little Yorkshire Terriers became the mascots of the event. They got more attention than my CSi did.

Jim,

My apologies for that small oversight. Someone had told me that it was a '93 850CSi...isn't that when it first came out? I stand corrected...it's a 1995 model. And yes, I do agree that your cute Yorkies, Betsy and Babe did get a lot more attention! Especially from the kids!

Me overlooking Betsy and Babe in their "backpack."

Dylan, Betsy and Jet Black M5 in Van a.k.a. William in the 850CSi

Dylan and Betsy

Jim, correct me if I'm wrong on the matching the dogs with their names. I can't remember how to tell them apart. I remember you said that one had lighter hair on top than the other but I don't remember which is which.

Hi Jason, I can't wait for the next drive. But next time, we WILL exchange cell numbers. I had a great time, even if a lot of it was solo. BMW only brought the CSi into the States during '94 and '95, and NONE into Canada. The CSi did come out in Europe in '93.

The Girls will be 1 year old on the 29th on this month. Betsy, (the "big" one) weighes 2 lb, 7 oz., and has the lighter colored facial hair. Babe weighes 1 lb, 11 oz., and has darker colored facial hair. That is Betsy over Babe in the "Doggy Bag" shot, and that is Betsy (the "big" one) in Dylan's jacket. It should be mentioned that Dlyan isn't so big himself (but a real BMW nut), so he may make Betsy look bigger than she is!!

The next drive might happen sooner than you think. I've already gotten the next routes planned out! I saved a lot of the good stuff for those next times. And those folks with the Z3 also have some good routes too! Looks like this may become a regular thing!

I would LOVE to come check out your stable one of these days. Maybe this Sunday. Let me know..email me.

Interesting about the CSi's....and one of the Vancouver crew had mentioned seeing those CSi's in Canada. Maybe he mistook a 850i or even a 840i for a 850CSi. Any idea why they didn't export them up there?

Dylan had a good time..he would NOT stop talking! I was very impressed by his knowledge of BMW's. What especially got to me is that he told me that I was a better shifter than his dad. Then when he rode with Jet Black M5 in Van he told him that he was a better shifter than me! Go figure!

Well, you KNOW the girls and I want to go on the next drive

Dylan told me that he was surprised that my CSi's clutch was so much stiffer than an M-5 clutch. I am still wondering how he reached it! You are right, Dylan was NEVER at a loss for words.
