sl55 in baltimore??
Has the SL55 even reached the US yet????

I could have sworn I saw one at the Renaissance Hotel in Baltimore this afternoon. I drove by it and was only able to see the "AMG" on the right of the trunk, and it was definitely the new SL. Is it possible it's was just the AMG version of the SL500, or did I really see an SL55?? (I never got see the left side of trunk to confirm SL55 or SL500, but I'm sure the right side said AMG).

i'm not sure
I was in the back of a cab (limited visibility) and the benz itself was also obscured by plants. Could not make out anything else, but was VERY CLOSE to telling the driver to drop me off right there (1 minute into our trip) and finding another cab after checking out the car. Maybe i'm not a TRUE enthusiast.

So far all the west coast dealers are saying that their first SL55s will arrive in DECEMBER.

If you actually saw one, it might be Lonman shipping his over for the Gumball 3000.

There are a few in the US for the autoshow circuit and I'm sure some D-C VIP's probably get to tool around in them from time-to-time. I can't imagine someone with a new SL putting an AMG badge on. Tacky! Tacky! It was probably the real thing.
