I'm in the process of doing reasearch on Tinting Techniques.

It seems that this Black Panther doesn't have any metal in the film. This would help am radio signals, Radar Detection Strength, as well as some NAV problems some have encountered.

I am curios if Anyone has used this film as I am concerned with the discoloration of Non-Metallic Films.

Also, There are many ways to overcome the " Dot-Matrix" problem that some True Tinting Affecionados have observed...

I have heard or Razor Blades, Wet Sanding as well as Glue. The Down falls are that Wet Sanding can Haze, and Yep sanding can scratch the glass if not done with extreme care. Don't know how well the Razor Blades work.

I should have a report in the near future...

I have the Blank Panther film on my M5 and love it. In fact I'd go on to say that I've had it installed on three BMWs and four 911s over the years and I wouldn't use anything but. Have no problem at all with V1 interference/degradation, AM radio signals or the dot matrix affect.

My recommendation is to make sure the people who do the installation have done it for years and are true pros. Also, put some tape over the window control switches so no one moves the windows for a full week or more. Gotta let that film cure!
