Hey Evan - Thanks for the feedback. So when you look under your car from the side, it looks similar to my car that I pictured?

Thanks TQ. I'm going to have a closer look at how my collector is "seated" with the primaries today, but you may be right. I'm assuming yours is the bottom set in that picture?

I just checked the car and it appears to be seated all the way in, with donut gaskets and springs in place.

Here's some pics... And I think you can use the CATS as reference if your SS Collectors are low as on mine I visually noticed that the CATS are lower compared to the lowest point of the collectors.

Hope this helps.

Thanks TQ2K. That clearance is much better than mine. From your experience, any idea why myself (and apparently many others) seem to have a lower collector than yours?

I had gone off of this topic for a few days and wanted to again add my 2 cents. My system also, is slighly lower on the pasenger side and is subsequently 1st point of contact. (Ouch) I had assumed all SS setups were like this. It is fact that unity between the collector and header pipe HAS to be snug. There is a nitch to making sure all the donuts are seated as far up on the header pipe as possible, prior to joining the collector/springs. After having to change out springs and donuts a few times, it was obvious that 1/2" could make a world of difference in how far down the collector sits.
That being said, mine STILL hangs down farther than I would like it. Something uneasy about my SS headers being the lowest point of the car . I would be curious if there are "different" collectors available for our cars. I will call Supersprint in Texas manana (tomorrow for all of you non-diversified States)
Lenny, after seeing Peter's Dinan headers from underneath and your pictures, Dinan obviously did the right thing in going 4-2-1 for fit and finish. But Holy Cr--, the extra $6,000 was put to good use.
