BMW CCA does Nürburgring 08/2002

Any BMW CCA members interested in going to the Nürburgring Driving School in August? (it conflicts with the Sears Point day and Monterey extravaganza! )

August 13-15, 2002 (plus other events surrounding the school)

Quote:
The International BMW Driving School at the Nürburgring is not a BMW CCA event, but has been conducted by a German BMW Club annually since 1964. This website provides information for BMW CCA members who wish to participate. The BMW CCA package includes all arrangements with the School organizers, a commemorative shirt and nametag, activities in Munich before the School, and lodging reservations, all intended to make it easier for you to participate. Click on the FAQ for more specific details. The 3-days on the Nürburgring are not for every driver. The driving experience is intense, and participants should have at least three BMW CCA Driving Schools (or quivalent) in their driving background before signing up.

Our airfield events are completely safe based on years of experience, we conduct them during clear visibility with mature participants that have several years of experience with high-performance automobiles, large unobstructed run-off zones on sealed off private former military airbases and we clearly mark the braking zones. If inexperienced with high speed driving we do not recommend organizing your own event but attending a high-performance driving school.
