Yes... Its the angle with the light what makes it look like chroom. Same prob on your pic with the sun I think.

I like it some way... The OEM colour is terrible for respray... I found a adres now where they can respray them like OEM but it cost 1000 dollars for one set wheels...

I found a better OEM set now... So no problem yet... But its hard to find. They say the OEM E39 M wheels are magnisium. Is that correct?

Shadow chrome is the colour, but seriously go with what you prefer it's a bit hit and miss trying to match. Shadow chrome to one company is gun metal to another is magnesium to another...

I only want it, when its OEM...

You see to much other colours on the OEM wheels I think... I like it like it is.

By magnesium I don't mean the colour but what the wheels are made of.

the 1" unused edge on the rear tire is referred in the track/racing community as "Chicken stripes".

Riders usually look at the rear tire to guage a rider's "ability" on street.

I for one am all for everyone riding within their limits and save the "real" riding for track -

Ahhh gotcha. Well, this bike only has 2,000 street miles and that's it. I'm not dragging knee on surface streets I like my bike and my body too much. No track days yet, but summer is coming!
