It seems to me that BBS is a popular choice for quite a few M5 owners here.
I don't know too many folks here that have HRE wheels though. I can only think of one, Blue Max. He has a beautiful set of HRE wheels which I think was purchased on impulse. Oak is another but he has it on his 996TT rather than his M5. I've been looking into getting a set of HRE 540's too but probably not for a while.

A set of HRE 545's with the new Reversed Dropped Centers would look fabulous on an M5! If I did not have the ACS wheels, the 19" 545 would be my choice.

by the way..i wonder why ACS doesn't make any styling accents to the z8? Hmmm
