Hey guys!

Ok I have a question. I'm getting my stock wheels powder coated by a local shop here in town. And I wanted to do the same color as the E92 M3 stock 18s. Style 260M.

Like this.

I think it will look good on my Alpine White ??????

Ok so here is the problem. I don't know what color to tell my powder coator to paint them?

I can't find any info from BMW on what color that is? Some kind of gun metal I assume?

I just don't want to end up with the wrong color wheels ouich

If you guys could help me figure out what color those wheels are that would be great!

Thanks!

just show the picture of this rim to the powdercoating guy. "a dark gunmetal" is probably going to be pretty close, but an image will help out too. think about it, people come in there all the time saying "an aggressive dark color, thats not silver, and not black" ya know?

Yeah I emailed him pics and he said he could match it no problem :M5thumbs:

Thanks!

Hey mate, it looks like a gunmetal, i am having my alloys refurbed on monday and going for the exact same coat. Im taking him a few photos and getting him to match it at close as poss. A gunmetal gloss like attached but yeh take that in and im sure they will match it up

Sweet! Post up pics after there done :biggrinbounce:

Also similar to this, this is a Charcoal / Anthracite
Yep, that's the color I'm looking for!

it is style 219 M reflex silber color code A44
Thanks for the info!

Sweet. The Anthracite looks great.

What are you guys paying to get the wheels done?
The guy I'm having do it is a really close friend of mine. And he owes me, so he is doing all 4 wheels for $150. Full strip down and powder coat
