Help me figure out wheel color

Hey guys!

Ok I have a question. I'm getting my stock wheels powder coated by a local shop here in town. And I wanted to do the same color as the E92 M3 stock 18s. Style 260M.

Like this.

I think it will look good on my Alpine White

Ok so here is the problem. I don't know what color to tell my powder coator to paint them?

I can't find any info from BMW on what color that is? Some kind of gun metal I assume?

I just don't want to end up with the wrong color wheels

If you guys could help me figure out what color those wheels are that would be great!

Thanks!

just show the picture of this rim to the powdercoating guy. "a dark gunmetal" is probably going to be pretty close, but an image will help out too. think about it, people come in there all the time saying "an aggressive dark color, thats not silver, and not black" ya know?

The charcoal looks good and very "today." I kinda like the approach where you keep it somewhat original and change it slightly. You end up with a car that looks better than the rest, although it's hard to put your finger on exactly why.
