Upon further thought....I prefer power dome with no vents.
Any estimates on pricing yet? And what will the final materials be on these hoods?

Im not the person who decides the price so these are estmates we have talked about but they could be higher or lower it really depends on a lot.
I'm glad things are moving along. Can't wait to see what you guys develop.
I personally like power dome only the best, but if I am paying a load of money for a CF hood, I want as much benefit from it as possible. The power dome is purely aesthetic and not worth $1300+ on its own. At least vents will help with heat dispersion and if done correctly can look great too!
I would like the Vorsteiner style slat vented model myself.
I would get one if the price is within Vorsteiner's. I was just about to make a purchase when they stopped making it.
Please copy their design, thank you.

Our prices are pretty far below theirs. Copying someone else's design is out of the question.
Our idea was to make vents that are flush and part of the hood. So you just have smooth contours everywhere. Unlike competitors that seem to be made separately and adhered on.
Chris
The issue isnt how you make them, I'm more concerned WHERE you make them. Unless they're in the same position as the ones in the GT500 pics I posted, Im not interested. Ford engineers put them there to cure the GT500's well known heatsoak issues, and I think the powerdome hood would look really nice with some color matched, slatted, flush vents in that area.
