Its time to put the beast up for sale. Its real hard to part with it but have to make some choices. what would be a right price to sell?

It has 81K miles on the meter, All fluids changed within the last month. Its in excellent condition. Have some 19' wheels and tires have 50% life. Magnaflow cans and aftermarket cats. 2001 Euro hella lights with clear side markers. Any input and suggestions welcome.

These are always difficult. If I were to price the car, which wheels you have, how many owners the car has had, available service records, documentation of appropriate maintenance (including brake flush, coolant flush, tranny and diff fluid changes, the interval of oil changes and what oil - no this will not start an oil thread!), needed replacements and at what mileage (brakes, MAFS, clutch, CPS, pre-cat O2 sensors, etc.), how much (if any) oil the car burns - all these things and more (condition of driver's seat and interior) all must go into your price point. These cars are definitely NOT one-price fits all via Edumunds, KBB, etc.

GL!

From what I've seen, Bay Area prices for a car such as you described are around the $17k-$19k range. The mods can work either way regarding pricing. Some people prefer to have it stock and some prefer mods. Personally, if I'm buying an M5, I prefer the former. However, your mods aren't that radical. Remember also, it's an '00. Prices for '02's and '03's with similar miles are in the low 20's and 3 years newer. Also, how are the brakes, clutch, control arms, MAF's? What other maintainance have you performed other than fluid changes?
