My RMS supercharger update

I called Osh at about 6:30 PT today but couldn't get hold of him as the person i spoke to said he was working on a car. So i left my name and he said that he will return my call on his way home later. I said fine and hung up. 11et came around and i said to myself that he probably forgot or was too busy so i should call tomorrow or something. The next thing i know my phone rang at about midnight et and RMS's number appeared

I picked it up and it was Osh on the other end.... I was like what are you doing so late?... He went ahhh just working... !!! I said it must be cool having your hobby as your job... That way you never will get bored.... He said yeah i love working on cars...To cut the story short.... He said that my car is coming along real good.. They developed a carbon fiber intake for it. The aftercooler was ordered and it should arrive in the next 2 weeks.... The racing clutch kit is on its way as well... They finished making the brakets for the supercharger so the supercharger shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to be installed

He said then they will have to just tune it from there which will take some time before its perfect.... He mentioend that the aftercooler took way too much time because it was difficult to find room for it since there is not alot of room in the engine compartment. They ended up spending more time than anticipated because he thought that i didnt order the aftercooler. Never the less, im soo syched at the moment i could feel my car as he was talking to me... You can even say tasted it too

Lastly, i asked him how much their supercharger kit would cost... He said $16,000 without the clutch which is another 3,500. Not sure if he quoted me for a stage I or stage II though.. He will send me some pictures soon and hopefully i will post them for you guys.

Best regards,
Black M5

Wow, that is great news, the Boston crew is dying to see it! Hey, would you happen to know which brand the clutch is?

$16k? Not bad, a lot cheaper than I thought it would be.

Oak,

Yeah feel free to check it out and give us an update while you are at it BTW, i edited the post to add the carbon fiber intake they developed for it. I later remembered and added it on.

Z1,

Thank you brother..... I can't wait to get it back and then ship it over to Bahrain. I have been counting the days till i get out of here Bahrain here i come *jumps over board*

CM5GO,

Its been there 5 months now. As i said in my earlier posts, they had to get the 330 supercharger out of the way and have been all out on my car ever since.

Black's M5 with RMS Supercharger

Hey,

Just wondering if you ever got your car back with the RMS Supercharger? If so, what's the HP torque now?
