Post Still CANNOT find place to get Clear Turn Signals in US

Sorry for the redundancy but I still cannot find a place to purchase the 2001 clear turn signals for my 2000 M5. I had ordered them from Allison BMW in Mountain View and their computer shows that the turn signals are clear. What happens is as follows. They arrive and they are the ones with amber. They called BMW and their wharehouse in South Carolina misboxed them. This is the case for all of them. They are looking into this and don't know how soon this will be corrected. So even if I get the right part number, which will show up on their computer, the order will be amber, not clear. I guess you can sense my frustration.

If anyone knows a place I can order them in the US, please post the location or email me directly.

I thank you so much for your assistance.

I don't understand ? I have a 2000 M5 and it came from the factory with clear turn signal lens. In certain light you can see the amber bulb through the clear lens though.

I know, but Fredcourtot was talking about a 2000 model in his thread.

And, no matter if his order was for a 2000 or 2001, the turn signal lenses should be clear nonetheless.

To clear up the comments. I have a 2000 M5 and wanted the 2001 lights (2001 are different then 2000).

I just ordered them today from Bekkers, the cost was $1075 for the 2001 Clear Front Lights for the M5. They ordered them from BMW Europe and have a lot in stock. They just received them a week ago. I won't need the Xenon kit as my 2000 M5 came with Xenon. Those who have old 540's will probably need to purchase the Xenon Assembly Kit.

Thanks to HadE55NowM5 for informing me they were available now.

Lets hope they come in clear and not amber !! ;-)

fredcourtot,

Are the ones you ordered from Bekkers including the entire assembly minus the Xenon bulbs themselves?.. and will it have the clear side marker for the blinker instead of amber?

Also, did you order the new rear lights as well?..if so, what was the cost for those?

thanks!
