It is the lighting. And part of it is the polish. I had the car dry sanded and polished after it was hit on the hood. This matched all the orange peel texture and gave it a GREAT shine. I set it next to my Imola M Roadster and there was a difference. The M5 color was a deeper color.
Oh and BTW no tickets in it either or the Roadster (red attracting cops is just a myth)

I broke my Smiler that day  that is for sure. I actually bought it a block from where I graduated high school. I had to chuckle at the irony of having terrible grades in school and driving the ultimate car. The only downfall was having to leave it there to be shipped to Denver
