Poll: Price paid relative to MSRP

For those of us who bought our cars new, what was that price relative to MSRP? I know some paid many $$ over MSRP early on, but the poll is anonymous, so let's see how well the dealers did.

I will never pay over msrp, if I must I'll wait six months till the hype blows over. For me it is just a matter of principal, I am disgusted that the manufactures turn a blind eye to this.

Good dealers charge MSRP.

My M5 purchased in Janurary of 2000 in Dallas and my Z8 purchased in March of 2002 in Jaxonville were both MSRP.

Quality dealers don't gouge their customers.

In Chicago I paid MSRP. Did anyone outside of California (the state on another planet), ever pay over MSRP?

Unfortunately,The few bad centers give "US",The good retail centers a bad name. I would never charge any body over list!
Especially if it's an enthusiast. The faster I put a car in their hands, the faster they start refering customers.I live on that pride!
BMW is a great product and we as representatives should make the experience as enjoyable as possible
