Northwest M5 drive (maps + info)

Well,

So far, the drive is still set for March 31st. I thought that we could meet at the Tulip Casino which is just off I-5 in Marysville. That would mark the beginning of the drive. I'll go scout out the area so a good meeting place can be found for all of us.

I wanted to give you guys an idea of what drive we would be going on.

Starting from Marysville, we'll head onto Hwy 2 Over to Snohomish for lunch. A place to eat will be determined at the Marysville location based on the voting results. I'll present the choices at the meet. From there we'll head back to Hwy 2 over to Monroe before taking a detour over to Maltby. From there we'll head to Snoqualmie Falls for some pictures. From there we'll head back to I-90 over to Alki Beach for our final meeting locale replete with picture times, discussion, etc. Be sure to bring your camcorder, cameras, talkabouts and your driving gloves!

Total travel time according to MS Streets should be about 3 hours but with time spent eating lunch I figure that it should take longer than that. I think that we should meet at around 10 am.

Any questions, please email me at jgtang@mindspring.com or post it on here. I'll also email a map + directions for those interested in coming along.

I need a roll call here too!

Sweet! Sounds like fun ... I'll be going with William. Jason, you gotta show us that Dinan exhaust like you did with William (inside a tunnel). I loved the rumble inside the cabin at lower rpms!

That's exactly why I made sure that our route included a sprint through the tunnels! Can you imagine not one but TWO (Lupo and mine, maybe more) Dinan exhausts roaring throughout!?!

I'd like to hear a Dinan w/X-pipes and a Dinan w/o X-pipes side by side (in a tunnel preferably) to hear the difference. That would definitly prove if the $400 it costs for the X-pipes is worth it...

Don't forget to email me so I can send you a map! I don't want to post it on here since unwanted folks might crash our meet.

UPDATE!

So far, we've got

Lupo
Jet Black in Van (with polvoronn)

I PM'ed Alpywhite, MikefWA and KirklandM5. I'm also going to ask my neighbor who has a M5 also. I also emailed M5monster. I got an email from Martin who expressed an interest in joining us if he's in the country.

Some other guys have expressed an interest in bringing their BMW's along...I guess this will be a big meet!
