I know S4's are not nearly as fast as m5's on dry pavement but it rained in boston today so the roads where slick. I was a stop light with a starbuck's latte in my hand and a punk in a blue s4 started revving his engine and looking at me. I take another sip of my latte and ignore him but he honks his horn and starts revving again, so I got anxious, put my Latte in the cup holder that is too small for a big latte and got ready. I figured that there was no one around and it was a straight road, what the heck. I turned of the trac , light turned green and he obviously thought he would smoke me because the roads where wet. Guess what he does not know how to drive, he revved his engine so much and dupted the clutch, I just eased of and shift short in first and nailed second. caught rite up and passed him. I love going sidways in second gear, mind you my latte feel on the floor. Well we got to the next light and all I could smell was his CLUTCH.
WHAT AN IDIOT!

Great story M57777, I hope the latte didn't stain anything. It was worth it, the beast deserves a puple heart for this one.
I have now been in this city for abotu 6 years and here are some offenders, not in any specific order:
1. Audi A4/S4
2. CLK 320/430
3. E36 M3 (There's this one esoril convertible with RD badge...)
4. Chevy Blazer
5. A gold Z3 with neon lights and NOS (You guys know this one)
5. Other M5s!! (And I know all of you!)
I am sure all of us M5 drivers have encounters with these punks. Makes me laugh, it's quite amusing.
The latte is cleaned up know, I bought one of those super shammies from the auto show, works really well. My car actually smells like starbucks a bit. I am sure it will wake me up is the morning, when I step in. haha...

I too have become impressed with what the M5 can do in the rain. In the rain the other night approaching an interstate on-ramp, a Ford Taurus tried to squeeze into the lane in front of me. He couldn't because of traffic and got behind me (just inches from my bumper). It took about 10 seconds to tire of this impatient idiot. I dropped into 3rd, hit the sport button, but kept DSC on because of the conditions. The on-ramp is a 120 degree curve followed by a 300 degree curve. I was easily able to keep the rears on the edge of traction all the way arround the 2nd curve. With the DSC flashing madly, I came out of the 2nd curve (marked at 25mph) and merged into traffic at over 80 mph. Needless to say, the Taurus was waaaaaaay behind by that point. I was at least 1/4 mile down the road by the time I saw his headlights merge into traffic.

hmm... this guy lives in the same apartment complex as my friends in brookline. I see him driving around and he always likes to give his car a lot of gas in the underground parking lot to show off his 'tuned' machine (it's an automatic too! ). I swear one of these days he's going to run into someone backing out or getting out of their car.
That kid, he is going to NOS-it too much one of these days and the bondo is going to peel off of that car! But did you notice the chrome wheels? hahaha!
I personally don't know I was parked behind him once and he kept gassing his car and blew soot all over my hood, that bastard.
