This just shows that either I am a bad driver, or the mounts are real cheap. This is the second time I broke one, on the same side! Tfung broke one too. I think I am going to just buy a whole case of them! Sorry all, had to vent.
Ummmm, it was more for humor reasons. I guess I hvae a bad sense of humor.
The mount did brake though, this is the second time. I really didn't care much to go through warranty for it, the bracket costs a grand total of 2 dollars. I wasn't about to make an appointment to have that replaced under warranty.
yeah... mine was just gone.... I think that with aftermarket swaybars, it puts more stress on the mounts because of the extra stiffness... I say that all you guys with aftermarket sways should take a look at the mounts the next time your car goes on a lift...

there didn't seem to be much noticable change in handling..... you can check it even when the car is on the ground... just have to look closely from the rear......

How easy is it to change the bracket? Would you have to remove the rear wheels to do that? It hasn't happened to me yet but it'd be good to know the part number and instructions on how to change it.

Tt's really easy (From my point of view). No need to remove the car. This time it was done on a lift. The broken sway bar bracket was removed, one side of the sway bar was disconnected from the supension, place in a new bracket, and bolt everything back together.
The first time it was replaced, a regular floor jack was used.
spotted a silver M5 on the lift today at auto design haus, was that yours Boston Rocket? Also saw an anthracite M5 there (M5er's?) if I am not mistaken.
