# of M5's per color

This has come up before but I don't think anyone knew an accurate source, so I'm asking again.

Does anyone know how to obtain production #'s of M5's by color?

With the tracking methods and computers today, I know this is sitting on some BMW server somewhere. I tried asking for it a year ago on the owners section of the BMWNA website but never got a reply from them.

Any ideas how to get this info?

This information is available. Unfortunately not to the general public. That means us

R. L. Polk keeps a very detailed database of all vehicle registrations in the U.S & Canada but the service is so costly that only dealers or marketing companies can afford it.

What we need is a mole from BMW NA who can feed this info to us. Any takers?

Send me or Aussie a PM

Aussie, I saw this information somewhere. Maybe an older issue of Roundel. I may be that the colors were across the line of cars not just M5's. Because I recall the Titanium for the most followed by jet black, then the other black(can remember the name) and so on.

Maybe this will jog someones memory.

Have you done a search of this site for "color?"

I'll give it some thought and let you know.
