Lost 'Secret' Menu in Nav

I got a MkIV Nav from ebay a while back and it worked fine. I had the secret menu and I set 'Bird's Eye View' and loved my new faster, nicer to view nav.

Then I upgraded to V31 with an M5 splash. This worked fine, and I kept my 'Bird's Eye View' but oddly, I lost the secret menu.

I took it to Phil and he 'coded' it with the Autologic. No change.

I lived with it for about a year, but I just got INPA today and decided to have another go. I 'read' the Nav unit and got a 'Version Mismatch Error'. I figured I'd start it from scratch, so I re-installed to the car as a 'colour Widescreen' unit, and it came up blank, saying "No Software Loaded - Please insert CD".

I put the V31 CD back in and it loaded up fine.

EDIT - I've had another go and got the secret menu back. The odd thing is that if I select 'Perspective' to ON, nothing happens. The map stays flat. Am I missing something obvious here?!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7E18 Safari/528.16)

I can't believe how dumb I am! I'd completely forgotten the second menu option once you've set the secret menu option. You just go to "Map Positioning" and select "Perspective". It came to me on the way home. It's all working great now.
One thing I have learned is that just 'Coding' the Nav isn't always enough. Only now that Ive reinstalled the whole system using INPA, is it working correctly at last. (bar a couple of blonde moments on the way!)

Oh - and all menus, including the Service Mode, work fine while moving - on mine at least.

Cheers,
Barney
