Well folks, Jason's helping me spend my money again! This time it's for the cool LED tailights that Atomic has photographed so nicely. Placed an order just yesterday with Bekkers.

I did a few searches and can't find any install instructions or recommendation as to where to put the transformers. Some say close or near to the M Mobility System. Does anyone have a pic of this that could be shared? I also looked in the Tech Tip area and nothing.

Good instructions can be found RIGHT here. That link that serge left was for the table of contents.

Some have said that they put the transformer right next to the M-mobility kit. I would think that's what you should do too.

I know what you can do next...you could swap out your 2000 Nav system for a 2001 widescreen nav system. To top that off you could swap your steering wheel for the 2001 spec one. That'll complete your transformation!

Next on your upgrade plate must be the Dinan 3.45 gears. Am taking tomorrow off to have that done. Can't wait!

The upgrade is really great. It soo looks soo nice when the lights are on. Its worth the $300

M5er, you need to install Led's tail lights. You can't be driving around with 2001 angel lights and 2000 rear lights

At least this "nut" has some restraint! I've declined making the upgrade to the Dinan 3.45 gears. I can't say the same about you though.

I definitely do concur...I have met the coolest folks on here! Maybe that's why this board is so addictive!

Have you had any problems with electrical interference? I think it was MAH who posted something about it.
