hehehe nothing...
I just want a spare engine that I want to rebuild in my spare time, firstly to have a spare engine for the dreadful day I will need one and secondly to satisfy my curiosity about a lot of things happening inside the S62 engine.
At the moment my engine is still going strong at 110k km, no probs at all
Cheers

Nice to see members from Botswana and SA. I used to live in Gabarone back in 1983-84, I miss the hell out of the place.

Anyway good luck on your rebuild and send us some pictures of the finished product.

Cheers,

M

How many cars have donated parts so far?? And are you planning on running M5 brakes (as I note the 16" turbine wheels from a normal E39) or will you use the donor car? What is the story behind the transplant?
