Do the style 32 17" staggered wheels fit the E39 M5?

Fronts are 8j, rears are 9j. Will they fit my stock e39? The search is not my friend today. Thanks.

Yes they should. Said more specifically, type 32 staggered are E39 fitment exclusively and are stock on 540i 6speeds. I see no reason they won't fit the M5. On my M5 I have a different 17 rim with snows that clear my brakes and suspension parts but I've not used the type 32.

I don't believe they do. I only thought style 65, 66 and 37 fit.

Well that's the thing, we know that the 66's fit, but nobody seems to have a definate answer on the 32's. The only way to be sure is to try them, but I don't want to buy a set of wheels without being sure. Somebody must have tried to fit them before - they are just keeping quiet!

Well I've trawled the net, still can't find the answer... I'm probably going to just buy the wheels and try them, I'm hoping, at worst I'll need some thin spacers on the front.

I'm on the wrong side of the pond for you guys, but if there is someone nearby who wants to stop by and try my wheels on.... I'm in Norwalk, CT. I've also wondered whether Rondell #58 wheels would clear M5 brakes, so I might ask you to test those as well.

I'll be interested in this as I'm in the process of picking up 66's and it would be good to know what the other options are.....
